Memory: Sofitel Adelaide - South Australia
Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir? What was that? Do I want to sleep with you tonight? In le tres French Sofitel? Oui, oui, yes!
It was well over a year ago that wifey and I indulged in a hedonistic staycation within Adelaide’s first internationally recognised 5-star hotel.
From the artistry with which our sublimely delectable Garçon Bleu meals were served, through to the lavish pool, the canapés in Club Millésime, and our room’s view from city to coast, we felt very, very fancy darling.
It was early days for the hotel, so some minor technology, admin and dining teething issues resulted in a slightly less than 5-star execution, but I’m being picky.
We’re looking forward to heading back and going another round sometime soon-ish, during which I will provide a more detailed and informative review. Overall, it was très très bien.
